Are you thinking:
- I really need to get Genesis Framework but my budget it limited
- I don’t know what I want my website to look like yet
- I am worried that if I buy a premium child theme I might not like it
- I really want to be able to customise my website myself
So you have just purchased the Genesis Framework (or are considering buying it) and you are thinking that you really don’t want to fork out for a child theme to go with it – but you know that buying the framework is a must. (Ouch, my budget is broken!)
Or perhaps you don’t really know how you would like your website to look just yet (I change my mind like the weather) or you wish to customize it yourself with it. This maybe because your budget is limited (and you know that buying the framework is a must), or because you aren’t quite sure how you want your website to look yet, or because you want customise it yourself.
When I purchased the Genesis Framework for building my WordPress websites I wanted to be able to play around with different looks without having to buy any premium child themes. StudioPress has its own free, as well as premium, Genesis child themes. Here I have listed links to their FREE child themes.
When I bought the Genesis Framework I was originally going to customise the child theme myself, I watched several courses on how to do this (using coding – yuk) and then ran out of time. I really wanted to find a list of free child themes for the Genesis Framework so that I could get on with building content for my website – after all what good is a website without it!
